Village crews have completed driveway and cross culvert installations on Sleepy Hollow, Standish, and Tennyson. A total of 41 driveway culverts and six (6) cross culverts were replaced. Crews are in the process of completing landscape restoration in the stormwater ditches and anticipate wrapping that up by the end of the week.
The Village paving contractor has requested an extension on start date and is working on a revised schedule. All road resurfacing and landscape restoration will be completed by mid-September.

Crews have replaced three (3) more driveway culverts on E Standish Place west of Bayside Drive and three (3) on Tennyson Drive north of E Standish Place. Crews have also been removing concrete inverts and restoring landscape in the stormwater ditches. Village crews will continue working east on Standish Place towards N Lake Drive, replacing driveway culverts and regrading and restoring the stormwater ditch as needed.
Street repaving is anticipated to begin on August 20 and conclude in the middle of September. The contractor will start on N Sleepy Hollow Road and then move to Standish Place and Tennyson Drive. The work will be done in waves as all roads will be milled, then have subbase graded, and repaved so do not be alarmed if you do not see progress for a few days on your street during the project.

Driveway culverts, cross culverts, and landscape restoration has been completed on N Sleepy Hollow Road. We want to thank residents for their patience as access to the north end of Sleepy Hollow was limited during the installation of the four (4) 24” cross culverts. Crews have started in the eastern cul-de-sac of E Standish Place installing five (5) driveway culverts, one (1) cross culvert, and have been regrading the stormwater ditch as needed. The project will continue to move west along Standish Place towards Lake Drive. A small amount of rip rap (i.e. stone) will be placed in the ditch between 1505 and 1509 E Standish Place to control the pace of stormwater flow and help prevent erosion. Expect concrete inverts in the stormwater ditch to be removed this week with landscape restoration to follow.
Driveway culvert and cross culvert replacement, stormwater ditch regrading, and landscape restoration will take place on N Tennyson Drive following the completion of E Standish Place. Stay tuned for a street resurfacing schedule for N Sleepy Hollow Road, E Standish Place, and N Tennyson Drive.
