The paving schedule for the 2018 street resurfacing project has been updated. Key dates are as follows:
The proof roll for Sleepy Hollow Road, Tennyson Drive, and Standish Place is scheduled for Friday, August 31. The purpose of the proof roll is to check the integrity and compaction of the surface under the pavement, which is known as the subgrade. The paving schedule may be altered slightly depending on the amount of subgrade strengthening that needs to be done, if any.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we are on the home stretch of this year’s project.

A revised schedule has been approved for street resurfacing. Resurfacing will begin on August 27 and complete in mid-September. As a reminder, the pavers will bring in different pieces of equipment and move between Sleepy Hollow Road, Standish Place, and Tennyson Drive. Don’t be alarmed if you don’t see any progress on your road for several days as the contractor is working in other areas of the project.

Village crews have completed driveway and cross culvert installations on Sleepy Hollow, Standish, and Tennyson. A total of 41 driveway culverts and six (6) cross culverts were replaced. Crews are in the process of completing landscape restoration in the stormwater ditches and anticipate wrapping that up by the end of the week.
The Village paving contractor has requested an extension on start date and is working on a revised schedule. All road resurfacing and landscape restoration will be completed by mid-September.
